Individual VIPs much higher quality
My daughter collects these LPS VIP's and when I saw these released back in October I decided to buy them without seeing them in person. Retail was $24.99 and at the time I paid $22.99. Now the price has dropped quite a bit (14.99).
I am very dissappointed in the BFF products they are made with a cheaper quality in both stitching and construction compared to the individual VIPs and in most cases you can find individual VIPs for $10 or less at Wmart or Tget. The smaller of the two pets is 1/2 the size of a normal VIP so for more than you would pay for 2 normal size VIPs you get 1.5 VIPs of lesser quality.
I fully recommend purchasing the individual VIPs over these.
Nice toy...if it was complete!!
I have had a nightmare with these toys. My daughter asked for these for Christmas and I ordered them for her. I was not familiar with them at the time, so when they arrived I wrapped them for Christmas. On Christmas morning my daughter opened them only to discover that the charm on the collar of the bunny was missing. This "charm" contains the password/secret code that is required to register these pets and play with them online. (Which is the whole purpose of the VIP pets) I tried to return them to the retailer and was told that they were out of stock. I asked if I could receive my money back, and was told that I would need to wait on the items to come back into stock and exchange it. After a month of waiting on the toy to be back in stock, I bit the bullet and bought a new set at W-mrt.
To be fair, I do give a 4 star review to the working set that we were finally able to get, but not for the one I bought from Amazon.
Great Toy
My 5 year old grandaughter loves this. The plush is cute but the learning value is online. It is teaching her responsibility of taking care of the pets plus experience using the computer.
